5 Holiday Packing Hacks
A great place to start your trip. With so many spots on the way you will never cover them all but don’t’ worry it gives you a chance to catch them the next time you come by. With over 100 destinations within the Midlands Meander you will be spoilt for choice. Make sure you visit the Nelson Mandela Capture Site and take a look at the magnificent sculpture by Marco Cianfanelli. If you enjoy adventure make a stop at Karkloof Canopy Tour and enjoy zip lining in the Karkloof Forest. Stop by Marrakesh Cheese for tastes of feta, gouda, brie and so many more. Have a break at the Piggly Wiggly Coffee Shop for a delicious tea time treat. Make sure not to miss Chocolate Heaven and Tasha’s Fudge. Stop by Romeso Olives for a taste of heaven. Visit Culamoya Chimes to experience their magical sounds.

Moses Mabhida Stadium
Visit the famous soccer stadium in Durban that has it all. If you love architecture you will marvel at the design. Take a walk around it and enjoy the many restaurants and catch a glimpse of People’s Park. Adrenaline junkies will love the walk up to the top and the Adventure Slide. Be sure to take the Go Pro with if you are going for the slide. It’s something to post on YouTube. You can also enjoy spectacular views of Durban in the SkyCar. Persuade your pals to go on a Segway Ride as well. They can also be found at the Stadium.

uShaka Marine World
Home to a theme park of adventure slides with a new experience at every twist or turn. You can also saunter down the lazy river or attempt extreme rides if you dare. Visit the Aquarium to learn all about the many fish species in this area. There is also the Village Walk home to a variety of shops and restaurants. Be sure to stop at Moyo’s on the Pier for a meal or cocktail. It features some spectacular views of Durban.
Location: Point Waterfront, Durban.
Home to the rich and famous. Filled with some of the most expensive real estate in South Africa. Be sure to stop by The Beverly Hills Hotel and The Oyster Box Hotel for a meal or two. Visit Gateway Shopping Centre, one of the biggest shopping malls in the southern hemisphere. Explore uMhlanga Village with its many eating establishments. Make sure to catch a tan on Bronze Beach. Do not leave before taking a walk along the promenade.

The North Coast
Home to some of the most scenic beach drives in KZN on the M4 route. Be sure to stop by uMdloti, Zimbali, Ballito and Tinley Manor. Featuring spectacular beaches and fine dining along the way. For a great meal stop by Beach Bums which is situated right on the beach. Find it at 65 Casuarina Road in Westbrook.
